Second World BX Championship will be
held in Serbia in 5-6 september! The moust intense boardercross racing with
riders from 20 countries world wide will try to find a way to get the title of
best BX mountainboard rider!
Here are some details:
Competition will last for 2 days. On the
first day (Friday) will be boardercross by Serbian rules like last time:
Every rider will get chance to ride in
three races; Groups of 4 riders will be picked randomly;
Every rider will race in 3 different
groups. Riders will gain points for their placement in those races: 1st will
get 5 points; 2nd — 3 points; 3rd — 2 points; 4th — 1 point. Also, time will be
measured, so we can list riders with the same amount of points. (Rider who won
all 3 races and gained 15 points will be ahead of the rider with the same
amount, but who had slower time on the track - only the best time from 3 races
will count).
After 3 races point summary will be published and that list will
be used for tomorrow elimination races. Best 32 riders with go through to the
next stage. They will be divided in 4 groups:
RED — best 8 riders; BLUE — riders from
9-16th place on the list; YELLOW — from 17-24th place; BLACK — last 8 (from
25-32). RED rider has priority in picking the starting lane, then BLUE and
YELLOW in front of BLACK. Each race will be formed by riders with one of those
colours, due to the qualification list. On the second day (Saturday), will be
elimination races from 1/8 finals (best 32) until the final race. Best two
riders in each race go through to the next stage.
For the Women and Master race, it will
be decided on the day of the competition - due to the number of the riders.
Juniors 16 and under) will race only on
Saturday and will ride only the first part of the track.
After Boarder-X will
be Freestyle competition on one jump. 40 min JAM session for all riders. Three
FUN nominations without any places: * Best trick (must be landed); * Highest
flip; * Stylish grab (no difference as a straight air or during a rotation).
REGISTRATION
FEE for this year will be 20 Euros.
Accommodation details will be posted soon -
due to the large amount of the riders and guests, sleeping will be on few
places close to each other (hostel from last year is still in)
Just to make sure for the RULES so there won't be any
confusion. Track is hard and fast and technical but that's why this is WORLD BX
CHAMPS. Men, Women and Master races will be ridden on whole track (and we will
have world champions in those categories). Only promotional junior race (16 and
under) will be ridden on first half of the track. For protection gear we will
not give special notes - cuz they are same on all IMA events - must be worn.
Freestyle jam is just for fun, and you can all relax and enjoy yourself on that
show - as participator or spectator.
Only 8 inch tires allowed, no brakes
